And so, I'm joining the bandwagon and also making a post about this scandal that recently appeared on the local cosplay community.
The whole story can be found here:
http://mao-ni.blogspot.com/ with links referencing the places where it started. This is my friend's blog, and I got his permission first to post it here.
To summarize: There's a certain Mr. I'm-too-good-for-everyone-else,-bow-to-m
y-greatness who posted a cosplay picture of a 17 (seventeen) year old girl, a minor by Philippine law, in an adult-oriented forum. As in a forum for a magazine that features scantily clad ladies on its covers.
As soon as the local cosplay community got hold of this, a forum war started with angry cosplayers demanding an apology from Mr. I-do-everything-right who has only the lamest excuses for his actions.
And as of writing, he has not given any sort of apology and is simply acting like nothing has happened.
Finally, I'd like to throw back one saying of his - his comment on another friend's LJ: "The Web raises the bar for customer service. It's time ________, an online business, learned that."
It's time he learned that it goes both ways.
